Position Overview

Reporting to the Executive Director of Foundation & Business Development the Development & Engagement Specialist serves as an important connection between CMH and the greater Chenango community for the purposes of fundraising engagement communications
outreach and advocacy. The position will help elevate the image and reputation of CMH as well as raise funds and awareness on behalf of the hospitals Foundation through collaboration with donors community partners hospital stakeholders providers and staff.

Primary Department Division or Unit:

Office of the President UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital

Work Shift and Schedule:

This is a per diem position which means you will work on an as needed agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.

Compensation Range:

$26.13 - $40.53 per hour depending on experience

This position is not eligible for benefits.

Education/Experience

Minimum required

• Associates degree communications related field of study or equivalent experience.

Preferred

• Bachelors degree.
• 3 years or equivalent experience in community outreach communication fundraising advocacy or related field.
• Understanding of basic accounting practices and/or grant writing a plus.
